In Akron, a campaign to grow 100,000 new trees in the region is launching with weather a weekend event to teach Akron residents how to grow and care for trees. It's all being done in an effort to combat a dwindling tree canopy. And the effort is similar in Cleveland and Cuyahoga County, where neighborhoods that have been historically redlined are forced to co-exist with industry, have worse air quality and health outcomes.
