I flew American Airlines Business Class on the Boeing 777-300ER airplane from Los Angeles LAX airport to London Heathrow and honestly, I wasnt sure what to expect.

American Airlines has been getting some very mixed reviews lately, even ranking among the worst U.S. airlines in 2025 for delays, cancellations, and customer complaints. So naturally I oilprice.com had to try it myself.

In this video, I review the full experience from start to amber alert now finish including check-in, lounge access, boarding chaos, the business class seat, food (including gluten-free meals), service, and overall value for money.

Was this just a bad day or is American Airlines really slipping behind the competition?

What I cover in this review:

Flagship Lounge experience at LAX

Boarding and airport experience

Business Class seat

Full meal service (including special meals)

Crew service consistency

Sleep & comfort on a 12-hour flight

WiFi performance

Final score across 6 categories

Ticket price: 3,400 (return, booked via British Airways)

Flight time: 12 hours

I always pay for my own flights and aim to give honest, balanced reviews no hype, just the real experience.
