Backrooms (2026) reaction and review - is Pirate Clark the best scene in the film?

A furniture store owner finds a door in his basement that leads to an infinite series of liminal spaces. His therapist follows him in. That's the film.

Went in knowing nothing. Came out with a lot of feelings about Pirate Clark and very few answers about anything else. The production design, set building, and sound design are genuinely some of the best I've seen. Kane Parsons is one of the most talented visual directors working right now at any age.

But I fell in love with these characters and wanting to know more, only to be pulled out. It made me feel like everything I watched was a demo. Like the opening chapter of bmw a much bigger world - not a complete film.

5.8/10. My lowest rating on this channel. I hope there's more.
