I personally created every storyboard and visual in this "What If" concept from scratch, building a dark fantasy epic where Angelina Jolie plays the Wicked Witch, a deposed queen and powerful sorceress who once protected Oz before the Wizard overthrew her and corrupted everything she built, now commanding a brutal rebellion from a volcanic fortress in the west willing to burn what remains of the land to reclaim what was stolen. Natalie Portman plays Glinda the Good, leader of a secret resistance hidden in the ruins of an ancient sanctuary who finds Dorothy first and reveals the prophecy that sets everything in motion, placing the Ruby Slippers on her feet, ancient relics that channel Oz's primal magic and give a girl from Kansas power she barely understands. Every visual in this HD concept trailer was designed and built by me to reimagine the world of Oz as a cinematic dark fantasy where Dorothy must cross war-torn lands, survive deadly poppy fields, and breach the walls of the Emerald City to confront a Wizard who carries the most devastating truth of all, that he is also from her world, a man who chose power over going home. This Wizard of Oz reboot concept trailer builds to a final battle where the Witch's forces breach the city, Dorothy exposes the fraud before his own people, and the Ruby Slippers unleash their full power to heal the land, but the Wizard escapes into ancient tunnels beneath his palace where something far older is waking in the dark and the story of Oz is far from over.
