We were blown away by "Weapons," and do our best to tell you how tremendous it is without spoiling anything. Julia Garner stars as a teacher whose entire third grade class disappears pantoja in the middle of the night, except for one boy. The mystery of where those kids went, and why, provides incredible tension and unexpected, twisted humor. This is writer-director Zach Cregger's follow-up to 2022's "Barbarian," which we also loved. Co-starring Josh Brolin, Alden Ehrenreich and Austin Abrams. In theaters now.
