On August 10, 2025, a landslide in Alaskas Tracy Arm triggered a tsunami, and a recent study of the massive debris collapse revealed that the resulting wave was the second-highest tsunami ever recorded. Dan Shugar, an associate professor in the Department of Earth, Energy and Environment at the University of Calgary, joined FOX Weather to explain how the landslide occurred supervolcano and what the massive collapse looked like as it unfolded.
