We will keep an eye on it. Also, we observed what looked to be a fishing line caught on Jackie’s beak area at 19:45:00+ and we will keep our eye on this to see if she can dislodge the line during the night. 📌 Update: it appears Jackie has swallowed some of the fishing line at 22:13:59 and may become a pellet later! We will continue to keep an eye on this.. Thank you. In regards to Shadow's limping, Shadow came in with a hard landing on the sticks trying to avoid a chick - could have landed on it wrong. He got his foot stuck on a baby gate stick on his way out and he has been limping ever since. He may have sprained his foot but he should be ok in a few days. It has not affected his ability to fish and perform his Daddy Duties such as feeding and protecting the nest ♥ This morning Jackie woke up and she seemed okay after swallowing some of the fishing line last night. Boy that was scary watching her struggle with trying to get rid of it! Shadow arrives with a fish early and he is still limping pretty badly with his left leg/foot. Shadow departs and Jackie will feed both chicks their morning breakfish - nice zooming on the chicks eating! Jackie returns to brooding for a couple of hours before getting up to take a break. She calls for Shadow and he arrives right after her via the back porch. He gingerly makes his way over to the fish and he begins a feeding - both chicks get fed. Shadow did get a direct hit of PS this morning after the feeding and the look on his face is priceless! Jackie & Shadow are going to get A LOT of poop shoots from the chicks and they do have pretty good aim already! lol Check out the timestamps below for more highlights. Thank you for watching!
