What I’m referring to, of course, is their 22 point summary post on X that essentially was an AI summary of Alex Karp’s book called The Technological Republic. The company’s social media jockey was clearly simping for Palantir’s CEO, claiming that everyone keeps asking what the book is about, and it is more unhinged than its author’s hairstyle. Among the points talking shit about the other tech companies that made Palantir possible and getting on their knees for big government and the military, the manifesto states that the USA should have mandatory military service. Spelled out, they say “National Service should be a universal duty. We should, as a society, seriously consider moving away from an all-volunteer force and only fight the next war if everyone shares in the risk and the cost.” I’m not going to dig into the history of the US draft, draft dodging by the elite and their families, why some countries have mandatory military service that are much smaller and more at risk of facing conflict on their soil, not to mention not already having the largest military in the world. I am just going to call out Alex Karp - you want to have mandatory military service? How about you serve in the military a day in your life, Mr. can’t even drive a car. Your company is the one helping the US government kill people all over the world, by your own admission, so if anything: I say military service should be mandatory for all Palantir employees. Oh wait, no I don’t, because that’s none of my damn business. I don’t want to rant too much, so Alex Karp, with all due respect, stay in your lane and shut up.
