Serial killer Frank Athen Walls (58) is scheduled to be executed in Florida on December 18, 2025. In July, 1987, he murdered Edward Alger (22) and Ann Peterson (21) during a robbery in Ocean City, Florida (Okaloosa County). Walls was sentenced to life in prison for Edward's murder and sentenced to death for Ann's murder. It was later learned that Walls had killed three others: Audrey Gygi (47) in May of 1987, Cynthia Sue Condra (24) in 1986, and Tommie Lou Whiddon in 1985 when Frank Walls was 17 years old. UPDATE (THURSDAY, DECEMBER 18, 2025): — Frank Walls (58) was executed this evening in Florida, becoming the 19th death row inmate executed in that state this year. As the drugs were administered, a Catholic priest was seated at the foot of the gurney with his right hand extended toward Walls' lower leg. Walls' official time of death was 6:11pm local time. With his last words, Walls had stated: "Good evening, everyone. I appreciate the opportunity to say what’s on my heart. If any of the members of the family are here, I am sorry for all of the things I did, the pain I caused, and all of that you have suffered all these years." — Earlier in the day, Walls had consumed a special final meal request that consisted of steak, chicken, vegetables, a baked potato, a cheesecake, and juice.
