Carlos Leal defeated Chidi Njokuani by unanimous decision (30-27, 29-28, 29-28)

Leal threw and landed greater volume, staggering Njokuani at one point in the second before oddly looking to take the towering veteran to the canvas. On the flipside, Njokuani was more judicious with is offerings, extremely efficient, landing at a high clip, as always, but struggling to get the Brazilian to back up at any point. No quarter was asked and none was given between these two game strikers, who continued to trade through to the final bell.

Once again, the verdict was left in the hands of the judges, who were unanimous in how they saw things, awarding Leal the victory. With the victory, The Lion draws level at two wins and two losses inside the Octagon, kicking off his 2026 campaign by getting things moving in the right direction again.

In each frame, Idiris and Osbourne ran largely parallel on the feet, trading shots with neither landing anything of real substance, before the Kazakh fighter would shift his focus to wrestling, put Osbourne on the canvas and burn time off the clock. The pace stayed consistent throughout, with Idiris clearly enjoying himself inside the Octagon, while The Jamaican Sensation simply could not find the blows needed to shift things in his favor.

When the scorecards were collected and tallied, it was Idiris that came out ahead. After suffering the first loss of his career last August at UFC 319, this was a strong, immediate bounce-back victory for the aggressive wrestler from Kazakhstan, who remains an intriguing prospect to track going forward.

After an opening round spent largely in the clinch, Edwards came out showing more aggression, taking the fight to Cornolle. She battered Cornolle with hammerfists on the canvas before the two briefly returned to their feet, where Edwards forcibly deposited her French adversary to the canvas, quickly locking up the fight-ending choke.
