The Iran war and news that a ceasefire was dead has pushed up fuel prices. Crude is up to $71.75 while the national average for gasoline is now $3.88 on regular, $4.77 on premium. As oil goes, so do prices everywhere else. 🏎️ We all know that driving over 50 MPH reduces fuel efficiency due to drag, but by how much? The DOE states that at these gas prices, you lose 27 cents a gallon for every 5 mph driven over 50. If you go 60, gas now costs you 54 cents a gallon MORE.
