Victor Tony Jones (64) is scheduled to be executed in Florida on September 30, 2025 for the 1990 murders of a married couple, Jacob (67) and Matilda Nestor (66) in Miami-Dade County, Florida. Jones was a new employee at the business owned by Jacob and Matilda and he killed them on his 2nd day of work. NOTE: While most media reports and case files name the victims as Jacob and Matilda Nestor, their actual full names are Jack (Jacob) Nestor and Dolly Matilda Nestor. UPDATE (TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 30, 2025): Florida death row inmate Victor Jones was executed this evening in that state. His official time of death was 6:13pm local time. When asked in the execution chamber if he would like to speak any last words, he said, "No, sir".
