Flood follows filmmaker Katy Scoggin as she returns home to California's Inland Empire to reconnect with her estranged father, an elementary science teacher and the only evangelical left in their family. As they confront their differences over faith, family, mackenzie blackwood and belonging, their reunion unfolds into an intimate portrait of empathy, resilience, and the possibility of understanding across deep divides.

Through honest conversations and shared moments, FLOOD explores what it means to listen, to forgive, and to find connection even when beliefs don't align. In a time of growing polarization, this documentary offers a deeply personal story about the bridges we can still build with the people we love.
