One of the newest Orioles is giving back to a Baltimore organization close to his heart. Baltimore Orioles first baseman Pete Alonso, his wife and their foundation on Tuesday presented a $10,000 check to BARCS. The Alonsos have two dogs of their own, both of which are adopted from shelters, so it was a no-brainer to pay it forward in this way.
