Mothers Gift provides soup, vegetables, fruits to Kariega residents to weather cold front [GN5eeFTUZve]
To ensure that residents survive the extremely cold conditions, a non-profit organisation in Kariega, Mothers Gift, is filling the tummies of needy residents with soup, vegetables and fruits. The organisation provides a warm meal for over 400 residents in Kwanobuhle and surrounding townships weekly. With the temperatures plummeting to below 15 degrees in the Eastern Cape this winter, the demand for a decent warm meal from many struggling households has increased.
