Brent Crude Oil Trades Above $104/Bbl Amid Hopes Of An Iran-US Peace Deal; Gold Near $4,500/Oz Emirates [a33367lRtyO]

Oil prices were volatile, ultimately settling about 2% lower as uncertainty over prospects for resolving the U.S.-Israeli conflict with Iran weighed on the market.

Brent crude futures settled at $102.58 a barrel, down $2.44, or 2.3%, while U.S. West Texas Intermediate futures closed at $96.35, down $1.9 or 1.9%. Both futures closed at their lowest in nearly two weeks.

Meanwhile, gold prices brewers game fell and were on track for its second consecutive weekly loss. Spot gold price declined 0.2% to $4,534.29 per ounce. The metal was down about 0.1% for the week so far. US gold futures for June delivery fell 0.1% to $4,535.60. Spot silver prices fell 0.5% to $76.32 per ounce.
