A super El Nio is building in the Pacific, and its effects have already started spreading across the world.

NOAA declared El Nio on June 11, and in the weeks since, the forecasts have only gotten stronger. There's now an 81% chance this becomes a very strong El Nio between October and December, ranking among the largest nancy mace events since records began in 1950, with the European model projecting ocean temperatures more than 3C above average.
