Exploring Scottish Highlands In Cairngorms National Park [Hiking Cairn Gorm] El Niño–southern Oscillation [bBktKMBAeCF]

Cairngorms National Park is a great place for hiking and exploring the picturesque Scottish highlands landscape. Its home to many plants, creatures and ecosystems. It houses over half of the surviving ancient Caledonian Scottish forest. Its also home to the Cairngorm Mountain range, which lies in the heart of the park.

On a whim, for my citadel season 2 birthday hike, we decided to hike Cairn Gorm itself, the 7th tallest mountain in the British Isles.

And we really had no idea just how ruggedly beautiful the landscape could be.

We took the 7.2 mile loop Cairn Gorm loop trail through the Cairngorm mountain summit, through Stob Coire an t-Sneachda and Cairn Lochan. You can add the Ben MacDui loop if you want braves vs dodgers a longer route.

Hope you enjoy the video and sketches!
