This workshop was developed by CAPHE for people working to promote clean air in their communities through the use of improved air quality monitoring. Our goal is to teach you to use available data to inform work to promote clean air and improved health. First we will explore the science of air quality monitoring. Next we will explain why air quality monitoring is important and look at types of air quality monitoring. Lastly we explain EPA monitoring networks and review different types of air quality sensors and discuss why we need them.
