Passengers and crew members were evacuated from a plane at Denver International Airport Saturday due to a problem with the aircraft's landing gear.

DIA shared on social media Saturday afternoon that airport first responders and the Denver Fire pge outage Department responded to a "reported issue" on an American Airlines flight. The fire department said arson it put out a fire after responding.

The airline said flight 3023 to Miami experienced a "maintenance issue" involving aimee-ffion edwards an aircraft tire prior to takeoff. All passengers and crew deplaned safely, according to the airline, and the plane was taken out of service to be inspected by a maintenance team.
