The Big Bear Lake fireworks took place this evening beginning around 8:45pm. Sandy was perched on the front porch and Luna just below Sandy on the lower front porch. Both Sandy & Luna watched the fireworks going off in the distance but remained calm throughout the show. They did great and remained on their respected branches. Fiona even managed to come on the nest during the fireworks but she did get a little spooked and ran off. It is good news that this big event did not cause Sandy & Luna to fly off into the night. I am so glad the fireworks are over though!! Jackie & Shadow are near by in one of the trees roosting. Thank you for watching!
