The Philadelphia Phillies take an EMBARRASSING 9-1 loss to the Los Angeles Dodgers, as they drop two-of-three in LA. The Phillies struck out 34 times over the three-game set. Andrew Painter started for the Phillies and was done after 3.1 innings allowing four runs on seven hits including a pair of solo homers in the 4th. The 23-year-old righty threw 80 pitches to get through his day. The lone Phillies run came in the 9th when Bryson Stott hit a solo homer, his 6th of the season.
