Women in Sports Virtual Event Feat. Alysha Clark with Holly Rowe [jhi0BMiZ8q9]
Former MTSU standout and current WNBA star Alysha Clark of the Washington Mystics will speak during a free virtual event hosted by the Nashville Sports Council’s Women in Sports Initiative on Wednesday, April 28 at 12:00 p.m. CT. Clark is a professional basketball player currently playing for the Washington Mystics of the Women's National Basketball Association. She won two championships with the Seattle Storm, in the 2018 and in 2020. In 2019, she won a Ligue Féminine de Basketball championship with her French team, Lyon Asvel. Previously, Clark played Division I Basketball for Belmont University and later at Middle Tennessee State University where she achieved several accomplishments, including setting both national and school records. This virtual event will be moderated by Holly Rowe, reporter and play by play commentator for ESPN. Holly Rowe is one of the lead reporters on ESPN Saturday Night Prime college football, Big Monday men’s college basketball, Women’s Final Four, Women’s College World Series, NCAA indoor and beach volleyball national championships and the WNBA.
