How to Stop Feeling Off in Your Clothes (And Finally Find Your Style) [v6qkDtZvadg]

This is my framework for how to find your personal style using fashion psychology You know that feeling when you're standing in front of a full wardrobe and think "I have nothing to wear"? It's not that nothing looks good, it's just that nothing feels right. I didn't become a stylist because I loved clothes, it was because I was obsessed with what clothing does to us...how it actually changes our confidence, the way we behave, our mood, even our identity and sense of self. Fashion psychology is the foundation of everything I teach. Before we even talk about colours or trends or what aesthetic you like, I care about how your clothes make you FEEL. Because once you actually understand how your brain responds to what you wear, personal style becomes so much bigger than just "what looks good on me." It becomes this insane tool for clarity, for self expression, for showing up as the version of yourself you want to be. This is the science that completely changed the way I see style. I dive into self concept clarity, why the fit of something matters beyond just how it looks, the texture and feel of what you're wearing, even the symbolism of your outfit. All of this literally rewires your brain in real time. This is the kind of framework I genuinely wish everyone knew before they even started building their wardrobe because it would change everything. Here's what we're covering in this video: 0:00 – Why nothing in your wardrobe feels right 0:47 – What self-concept clarity actually is and why it matters for your style 1:33 – Your identity evolved but your wardrobe stayed stuck in the past 3:09 – How to find your style framework 4:46 – Why copying outfits won’t help you 5:37 - How your hobbies and interests translate into your ideal style 6:40 – Reflecting on your own wardrobe I honestly believe that if you embody this type of thinking every time you get dressed, you can genuinely change your life. And I know that sounds dramatic but I'm not exaggerating because I've had clients that have sworn that understanding this has helped them get partners, pay increases at work and just made them feel so completely different and confident in themselves, and I want you to feel the same. Studies mentioned in this video: Self-Concept Clarity - Campbell et al. (1996) Enclothed Cognition - Adam & Galinsky (2012) Extended Self Theory - Belk (1988) Clothing & Emotional Attachment - Dr. Dion Terrelonge Identity Expression Through Clothing - Kaiser (1990) So if you're on your own personal style journey right now or if you've ever felt like your wardrobe just doesn't feel like 'you,' I genuinely think this video is going to help you so much. I'd love to hear if this resonated with you! Let me know in the comments if you want me to dive more into fashion psychology because honestly I'm SO passionate about this stuff and I have so much more to share. #fashionpsychology #personalstyle #howtofindyourstyle #stylearchetype #personalstylejourney #dressforyouridentity #styleconfidence #selfconceptclarity #wardrobehelp #fashiontips #styleadvice #howtostyle #findyourstyle #wardrobepsychology #styletips #intentionalstyle #styleframework #fashionadvice #confidencethroughstyle #personalstyletips
