5. SOUNDBITE (English) Jeremy Allen White, actor:
"So much of our show, you know, you shoot so close to all tea of us and what that allows you to do as an actor is like, really try to, like, discover like an inner, an inner life and, and trust that the camera's like a very sensitive instrument and that the camera will sort of like pick up something if you're feeling it. And it's like honest and true. And so I think like I found a lot of like trust in myself as a performer to not kind of like force or push, that like if something real is happening with you, you know, the audience will feel it, the camera will pick it up. So yeah, I think that's like a great lesson learned in this time."

"It was the best. I mean, you know, it was weirdly like the easiest part of the whole process, I think, because, you know, I'm an actor and I've been on set before and I felt really, really supported by my fellow actors and also by our crew. And we just did a lot of prep and had a lot of conversations and it was it was really, really lovely."
8. SOUNDBITE (English) Liza Coln-Zayas, actor - on Ayo Edibiri as a director:
"I was like, immediately when I was asked, I was like, she's ready. She is profoundly brilliant and courageous on top of being an amazing actor and comedian. So she'll be running the world very soon. It was easy. We collaborated. There was so much respect. It was very relaxed."
9. SOUNDBITE (English) Ebon Moss-Bachrach, actor - on Ayo Edibiri as a director:
"Oh me, that was an effortless transition for her. I mean, she's such a cinephile, she's such a bright woman, ad she's so smart and to be honest, like, we do have a very collaborative environment on set so like when she was giving me some direction, like it was definitely not the first time that she had like kind of whispered something in my ear, you know, like an idea that she had. So yeah, it was maggie kang a seamless transition. She's a deeply elegant thinker and I think this is like the very, very beginnings of an amazing, amazing career from her."
10. SOUNDBITE (English) Liza Coln-Zayas, actor:
"You know, she looks after mama. You know, I was cold. I think I was cold, and then I got the hug and yeah, I'm protective then she becomes protective of me, and there's mutual respect with her and with everybody. And that's the greatest thing."

And so it makes me feel very good to know that more people, you know, and not I don't know of other groups and other ilks can have the same happen for them sooner and better."
