Amazon (AMZN) reported first quarter earnings of $0.98 per share, topping expectations of $0.83. guardians game today Net sales of $143.31 billion was slightly better than the estimated $142.59 billion. Both AWS and North American revenues came in above Street consensus.

The company's second quarter outlook, however, fell short of expectations. Amazon sees net sales of $144 billion to $149 billion. The estimate was for $150.2 billion.
