I would like to wish everyone a Happy Fourth of July - America's 250th Anniversary of freedom! And what better way to celebrate it with our amazing eagle family! I hope you will enjoy this video showing Sandy & Luna greeting the morning sunrise on the attic as our national symbol of freedom - let freedom ring! In the early morning hours, we have a special chorus of singing with the entire family! Luna begins with his vocals, Jackie will follow, Shadow chimes in and Sandy with her deep voice completes the picture! Beautiful family chortles! Shadow delivers the first fish of the day and Sandy will fly to the nest canopy and make her way to the nest landing with a thud and claiming the fish. Sandy eats the whole fish. Luna returns to the nest landing perfectly on the back porch! A 10!! Jackie will bring a fish just past noon and this time Luna is in the nest canopy (Sandy is in the branches just below the nest). Luna claims the fish and eats it. Sandy does return to the nest but Luna defends her fish & keeps eating till finished while Sandy watched. Everyone is happy to have eaten their own fish to celebrate the 4th! Happy Independence Day!
