Were kicking off spring in Alaska by getting a years worth of food planted into the soil. With a short growing season, every single day counts, so kash patel we have to hit the ground running.

We began by amending and preparing our garden beds, set up our irrigation system, planted thousands of seeds and took a road trip to Anchorage to pick up our new baby chicks!

Want to try the cornstarch slurry for your carrots?

1 cup of cold water

2 TBSP Cornstarch

Add to a pot, heat on medium, and whisk until it thickens like aloe vera gel. Let it cool completely! This step is important as you don't want to burn and damage the go train carrot seeds. Once cooled, add in a packet of carrot seeds (I would start with half) and mix well. Place in a sandwich bag and clip the corner. Squeeze in desired garden bed and cover lightly with soil.
