Jade Benning's childhood best friend Nijaiha Jackson was there the night she and her unborn child were allegedly poisoned by former Tennessee Titans scout Blaise Taylor. Jackson, who had gone to Benning's home with another friend the night of the incident, recalled how Taylor said he wanted to paint "a black hole" in the baby's nursery. "'I'm gonna call it midnight,'" she recalled him saying. "'The further you look, the deeper you'll go.'" Shortly after Jackson left that night, she received her final phone call from the nearly 24-week-pregnant Benning, who was heard yelling at Taylor, "'I know you put something in my drink because I can't even walk straight. ...You did this so something would happen to the baby.'"
