A major Nor'easter is heading our way. Snow begins Sunday afternoon/evening and ends Monday evening. Blizzard conditions are likely, with numerous outages anticipated, plus significant wind/coastal concerns. -Peak: overnight Sunday through Monday afternoon with snowfall rates 2–4"/hr possible and a chance of thundersnow Monday morning/early afternoon. -Snow totals: widespread 12–18" across most of CT/RI/southern New England, with 18–24" Worcester → Boston and much of eastern MA. SE MA/Cape/Islands remain highest risk, with localized 24–28"+ where a coastal front enhances snow. Outer Cape/Nantucket a bit lower (8–12") due to brief mixing. Much less in northern New England. -Damaging wind gusts 50-60 mph at the coast, 60-70 mph on Cape Cod. -Minor coastal flooding expected with pockets of moderate possible, plus splashover, road closures, and beach erosion around both Monday high tides (pre-dawn + late afternoon).
