Look up tonight, because something really cool is happening in the sky! On May 1st, we get the beautiful Full Flower Moon, and it reaches its peak at 12:23 p.m., so it’ll look full both in the morning and at night. This one is special because it’s also part of a rare Micro Moon series, meaning the moon is a bit farther from Earth and looks slightly smaller. But that’s not all. At the end of May, we’ll see a Blue Moon on May 30th–31st, which doesn’t happen very often. After sunset, you can spot Jupiter and Venus shining bright in the western sky, slowly moving closer each day.
