The new strategy, described as “attrition strikes,” could include bridges, roads, supply routes, electrical grids, power stations, and critical infrastructure — not only military and nuclear sites. The goal: exhaust the Iranian regime, damage its logistics, and force Tehran to accept Washington’s terms. NETANYAHU / TRUMP: Under a layer of secrecy, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu departed for Washington to meet President Donald Trump. Iran and Lebanon are expected to be at the center of the meeting, as the next phase of the campaign against Iran may be shaped directly between Jerusalem and Washington. RUSSIA / UKRAINE / IRAN: Iran is threatening a response after a commercial Iranian vessel in the Caspian Sea was struck, and Tehran is blaming Ukraine. President Volodymyr Zelensky warns that Russia is providing Iran with satellite imagery of American bases in the Middle East before attacks in the Gulf. He also warns that the war is expanding into an “axis of evil” involving Iran, North Korea, China, and Russia. HEZBOLLAH / RED SEA: Hezbollah is regrouping, rearming, and preparing for more fighting. At the same time, Israel is increasing pressure on Iran, which is raising tensions in the Red Sea and across the region. The Houthis remain one of Iran’s key tools in the campaign to control the Middle East through maritime pressure.
