We had a few errands to run in town, clemson swinney and made the 10 hour round trip drive down. We prepped the vehicle for winter drving in Alaska, did our shopping, and came back just in time for a big snowstorm. Chai Spiced Pancakes for breakfast!

HOMESTEAD RECIPES
Thyme & Sea Salt Sourdough Discard Crackers
-1 C discard
-1 C water
mix well
-1 tsp salt, 1 tbsp thyme
mix well
-3 C flour
mix and knead until smooth, the roll thin, precut crackers.
Bake at 350 for 10-15min
Chai Spiced Sourdough Pancakes
-1/2 c sourdough discard
-1/2 c water
-1 egg
-2 tbsp maple or honey
whisk together
-2.5 c flour
-1 tsp salt
-1 tbsp chai spice
whisk until combined, cook on skillet 2-3 min on each side until golden.
