The National Agromet Centre, Islamabad has issued a fresh three-day weather bulletin. A brief active monsoon setup will bring gusty winds and thunderstorms across the Pothohar region, Northeast, and Central Punjab on Thursday (evening/night), while Gilgit-Baltistan prepares for a rainy weekend starting Saturday.

Region-Wise Weather & Storm Timings (Thursday to Saturday):

Pothohar Region (Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum): Expect evening/nighttime thunderstorms, gusty winds, and isolated light rain across all tehsils on Thursday. Friday and Saturday will return to hot and humid weather.

Northeast Punjab (Lahore, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Narowal, Sheikhupura, etc.): Thursday brings a chance of gusty winds and scattered light rain, clearing up to hot and humid conditions on Friday and Saturday.

Central Punjab (Faisalabad, Sargodha, Kasur, Okara, Jhang, Chiniot): Isolated dust storms and rain are predicted for Thursday. Friday and Saturday will transition back to hot and humid weather.

Lower KP & Thal Desert (Bannu, D.I. Khan, Waziristan, Lakki Marwat, Bhakkar): No rain expected; conditions will remain consistently hot and humid over the next 3 days.

Gilgit-Baltistan: Hot and humid conditions will prevail on Thursday and Friday. However, Saturday brings strong windstorms, thunderstorms, and rain to several areas. Gilgit will see temperatures of 36C-38C, while Astore ranges between 28C-30C.
