I didn't grow up with 'Little House,' I didn't grow up with the books, I didn't grow up with the show, I maybe had heard the title before, but I didn't have a frame of reference of what it was. So I was kinda lucky going into this whole process and making it where I didn't feel that burden, the intimidating factor has come after making it. When I've told people what I've done, and I've been told how important it is to them. That's where it's got intimidating. But I think I was quite liberated. I was free of that burden, luckily enough, I think of trying to emulate something or live up to anyone's idea or my own idea or anything like that. The only pressure I felt is just kind of the regular pressure of trying to do a good job. But also, Charles Ingalls is a good man and that's what I wanted to hopefully bring to it."
