Seahawks at Cardinals score Live updates game stats highlights TV channel [tULhzyRjpeO]
The Seattle Seahawks offense was really cooking in the first half of Sunday Night Football, but it's a defensive play by one of the team's best offensive players that stands out as the play of the night so far. With the Seahawks leading 13-7 and looking to punch in another goal line score, Russell Wilson lofted a pass out to the right flat. He didn't see Cardinals safety Budda Baker sitting on the route though, and Baker picked it off and took it to the house. Or at least, that's what it looked like was going to happen. Instead, Baker was chased down from behind by D. K. Metcalf in a play so incredible it has to be seen to be believed. Metcalf stopped Baker just inside the 10-yard line, the Seahawks defense stopped the Cardinals on fourth down, and Wilson drove his team right back down the field for another score. The Cardinals, for their part, didn't get much going offensively for most of the first half -- but they did put together two different 75-yard scoring drives that ended with terrific touchdown tosses from Kyler Murray to his top two receivers (first DeAndre Hopkins, then Christian Kirk), as well as a one-minute drill drive for a late field goal. It's just that with the exception of the Baker pick near the goal line, they haven't been able to stop the Seahawks at all. Wilson and Tyler Lockett just keep connecting on deep balls, and the Seahawks lead 27-17 at the break. Follow along below as we live blog the second half below. Time: 8:25 p. m.
