😳 Country music star Trace Adkins recalled the day he nearly died during an argument with his then-wife, Julie Curtis, in 1994. According to the singer, she wanted him to leave the house and fired at him from extremely close range. The bullet entered beneath his left arm, passed through his heart and both lungs and exited on his right side. Trace was airlifted to a hospital and underwent emergency open-heart surgery. He believes Julie did not fully understand what would happen when she pulled the trigger and chose not to press charges. They divorced later that year, and the singer says he eventually forgave her.
