Patrick Clancy Heard WHAT On His Own 911 Call?! [67CBbz5v6xH]
Lindsay Clancy is standing trial for killing her three children, and the first witness her defense wants to call is the man who found them. Patrick Clancy walked into the basement of their Duxbury, Massachusetts home in January 2023 and found Cora, five, Dawson, three, and Callan, eight months, dead. His own screaming is on the 911 recording. Now, instead of testifying against the woman who did it, he's on the defense witness list, because he believes the healthcare system that treated his wife failed her badly enough to cost him his kids. Lindsay Clancy doesn't dispute that she killed them. Her attorney has already conceded that much. What's actually on trial is whether she understood what she was doing. She's pleading not guilty by reason of insanity, and her defense says she was drowning in postpartum psychosis, prescribed at least ten different medications over four months, hospitalized three times, turned away by a crisis hotline, and telling her providers outright that she was having thoughts of harming her children. Nobody stepped in. The prosecution sees a different woman entirely: one lucid enough to plan. They say she calculated a window of time, sent Patrick out of the house, and acted with intent. A forensic evaluation conducted after the killings diagnosed her with Bipolar Disorder I with psychosis and postpartum onset, a diagnosis she never received while she was still asking anyone who would listen for help. Patrick has also filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the providers who treated her. A hospital assessment had ruled out bipolar disorder before the killings, the same assessment two separate civil lawsuits now allege was dangerously wrong. Jury selection starts July 20 in Plymouth Superior Court, and the man who lost the most is walking in to defend the woman accused of taking it from him.
