MIchelin CrossClimate2 All-Weather Tire- A Tire Review in snowy New Jersey tires cars shorts [JCloBEBLlFd]
The Michelin CrossClimate2, promoted as an All-Weather tire, seems to fall short of its designation as an all weather tire. The test car is a 2017 Honda Accord V6 FWD Sedan. Not a light car, but not a Tesla either. The good points about this tire is it is good in the rain with its cool v-shape groove configuration. It also has the cool factor of looking like a sporty tire, which it clearly is not. The bad points are I would not trust getting out of snow with more than 5 inches. It does not feel any better than my past Michelin All-Season tires in the snow. My gas mileage has also dropped significantly since purchasing these tires. The softer rubber compound contributes to this loss in gas mileage. Also, performance on dry is only better than my Bridgestone Blizzaks WS-90s. That is not saying much. These tires don't really deserve the All-Weather designation in my opinion because I feel most Michelin All-Season tires can grip the same way in the same snowy conditions. #cars #tires #michelinpower
