Jackie hears something close to the nest but she can't see what or who it is. Sandy is awake & looking over across the nest. Suddenly, Fiona climbs up the tree trunk and Jackie immediately wing slaps her! Fiona being a flying squirrel - flew off to safety! But when she lands, listen to her displeasure and smack talk! A few choice words to be had! I put this in regular time and slomo with zoom! Fiona returns a short time later and is foraging on the left side of the nest. Jackie hears her and has her wings ready to slap. Sandy & Luna both hear Fiona and are looking her way. Fiona is looking for some food scraps as she is maneuvering on the rail sticks. Suddenly the stick she is standing on tips over and they go overboard. Fiona jumps to safety but the stick lands on the ground with a loud thud! Whew! Fiona's flying abilities are really coming into play. Fiona returns a third time and she is lands on the nest - but Jackie reacts and she rushes to the nest to chase Fiona off. Fiona rushes off to safety, Jackie picks up a small stick on the nest and gets it caught in her beak but she gets it out. Sandy & Luna are looking at one another....as Jackie stands over them. Jackie returns to the front porch & does a crop drop- both Sandy & Luna will fall back asleep. Ravens & Hawks in the daytime and Flying Squirrels at night oh my! Thank you for watching!
