With the end of the MLB season, it appears Bob Costas has called his last game. The legendary sportscaster confirmed to regina hall "The Athletic" that he's retiring from baseball play-by-play announcing.
Costas had been the lead voice on the major league baseball network since its inception 15 years ago. 'The Athletic' reports the 72-year-old will still work i as a studio show analyst for the network. Costas first started calling baseball games in 1980 for NBC Sports.
