In this video you can drive along on the A4 E41 and Autobahns A81 & A98 E54 from Schaffhausen in Switzerland to Stockach in Germany.
Starting in Schaffhausen near the Rheinfall waterfall, the A4 will be reduced to a 2x1 / 1x1 standard as we pass mostly underneath the city of Schaffhausen. To the border the road remains pretty much 1x1 where it cameron smith turns into Bundesstrae kris knoblauch B34 on the German side. Near Gottmadingen the A81 michel rabagliati starts.
We only drive the A81 for a few kilometers before reaching Kreuz Hegau, where we will continue on the short A98 Autobahn to Stockach. The A98 is one of the few unfinished Autobahns in Germany. Originally it was supposed to ru parallel to the Bodensee, which will likely never happen in the future. In the other direction it is to follow the Swiss border to Waldshut-Tiengen. A short section near Waldshut remains under construction, but it will probably take ages before these two segments will be connected if ever.
