The Arizona Attorney General’s Office has begun the process to obtain a death warrant for Leroy McGill. McGill was convicted of murder and attempted murder for a 2002 attack that led to the death of a man named Charles Perez. Another person named Nova Banta was also injured as a result of the attack. This video does not have any footage from the attack. Prosecutors are seeking a March 2026 execution for McGill.
