Our thoughts are with her, with hopes of a full recovery and return to her mate Shadow.. Another quiet day at Big Bear. The young female was seen perched on the Cactus Snag at daybreak and later in the day, on the Lookout Snag. Shadow returned in the evening and settled on the Twin Pines, seemingly alone. However, when he flew off for the night, another eagle appeared to follow him. With the camera panned so far out, it was very difficult to see clearly, but it was most likely the young female. Video includes slow motion of the two eagles flying out. Shadow and the subadult female are then seen spending the night together in the Roost Tree.
