Moose season is still upon us, and we are still on the hunt!

Its hard to get away from the homestead for extended time periods to set up a camp, so we scouted and called from around the cabin. We will keep calling, scouting, and waiting.

We scooped some wild mushrooms while out in the backcounty, and a few spruce hens for dinner- cooked in a homemade pot pie.
