How Many Pages Does Your Startup Website Actually Need? | Ask Marlena startup marketing website [FbKtCJAzhRb]

Here's what you actually need for your startup website: a compelling homepage with sections that link out to the rest. A page on how it works. A page on who it's for — you're targeting one to two, maybe three buyer personas. An About Us page covering your mission, vision, team, investments, whatever you want to share. A blog or content repository, but only if you've got a real strategy around the schema, how it's laid out, what's in it, and how often it's updated — because that's critically important for GEO now. FAQs on every page, because LLMs love scrapable FAQ content. And a solid Contact page. That's seven pages. And that's really all you need. ——— The Company Advice (TCA) provides fractional marketing and design support to early-stage startups. Co-founded by Lubna Hameed (Chief Design Officer, 20+ years in UX/UI, product design, and branding) and Marlena Sarunac (Chief Marketing Officer, 15+ years in marketing strategy and storytelling), TCA delivers executable playbooks that align your brand, product, and go-to-market strategy into one clear system. We start with a compelling homepage with sections that link to the rest of the pages. A page about how it works. Then who is it for? You are targeting one to two, maybe three buyer personas. We have an About Us page — so who are you as a company, your mission, your vision, your team, investments, et cetera, whatever it is that you want to share. A blog, some kind of repository for information — but you need to have a really great strategy around the schema, how it's laid out, what information is in there, how often it's being updated, all of it — which is critically, critically important for GEO now. We started building a separate FAQs page. We have FAQs on every page, because we're learning that LLMs really love FAQs. This is very scrapable content. Then a good Contact Us page. So that's, by my account, I think seven pages right there. And that's really all you need. There is no reason to have a page per feature, a page per product. That is not necessary when you're early stage.
