Artemis II astronauts share a hopeful message just before passing behind the moon [gQlB76UT5oY]
The four astronauts of the Artemis II mission passed behind the moon Monday, falling briefly out of contact with the rest of humanity. Just before they made their transit, they sent a message back to Earth: "As we get close to the nearest point to the moon and the farthest point from Earth, as we continue to unlock the mysteries of the cosmos, I would like to remind you of one of the most important mysteries there on Earth, and that's love," NASA astronaut Victor Glover said. Earlier on Monday the four astronauts surpassed the previous distance record set by the Apollo 13 crew in 1970, when they traveled about 248,655 miles from Earth. ------------------------------------- Join our newsletter at Follow us on Facebook: Follow us on Twitter: Follow us on Instagram: Follow us on TikTok:
