Brenden Theatres at the Palms is one of just 25 places in the country where movie fans will be able to see The Odyssey The IMAX 70mm Experience.

The Odyssey, based on the ancient Greek text attributed to the poet Homer, is the first feature film to be shot entirely in the IMAX format. The cameras are so large and noisy, theyre typically used only to capture big action sequences.

IMAX 70mm presentations can display up to 40 percent more of the movies picture than regular formats, making them the only way for avvelenamento audiences to see the film exactly the way Nolan visualized.

Tickets are on sale now. Demand across the country has been so great that moviegoers reported issues with Fandango and other ticketing apps Thursday morning when screenings went on sale.
