Power outages continue across Northeast Ohio [e3tfK7JkKyV]

According to Lakewood leadership, FirstEnergy says there was a "feeder issue" here. In simple terms, the feeder at a substation is the distribution line that brings power from the substation to your home. There has been at least one transformer that blew, but it only affected a smaller area. The majority of outages have been caused by problems at the Lauderdale location. For Lakewood Mayor Meghan George, the exact cause isn't the main concern. Instead, she's frustrated by the safety issues related to the outages. George voiced her frustrations with FirstEnergy and is calling on Governor Mike DeWine and state agencies to hold the company accountable.
