Nation Update: Early ballot boxes back at EBC [PBZDueiPU6a]
At 5 p.m. sharp, 30 polling stations which were opened for early voting in the 2026 General Election in Barbados were closed. And about an hour later, under heavy escort, the ballot boxes arrived at the office of the Electoral and Boundaries Commission at Warrens, St Michael. This special voting, which started at 7 a.m., was for election officers, police personnel and other members of the public service. The General Election will be held next Wednesday.
